Great job! A lovable little guy on a subway who is the hero we all need... to fart, a lot.
The fuzzy lines really make the fart clouds look good and gassy while the monkey's face makes it very easy to read his emotions.

haha thanks man, I hope to do more Foofie stuff in the future :)
Lovely motion, it really adds character to the audio. I'd love to see a more finished, fully realized version in the future!
Thanks! its something i made a couple of years ago or so now. mostly after work, so it would take forever to clean and color it ^^
Really nice line work for an animation, but the entire thing is lacking in environments and color.
It looks super incomplete so I hope you plan on finishing this.
The main aspect of animation as it is defined is to create the illusion of movement through successive pictures. The movement is pretty smooth with regards to that department. That being said, I don't think its fair to judge an animation negatively based on the fact that it doesn't have color or an environment. However, I agree this does make it look less refined.
Deep.
You really got the plot across and consequences through really well, you didn't have to straight up say anything(plus there was no talking). Great job!
It is exactly what I'm after, thank you for your review!
My biggest gripe with this is that it doesn't add anything to the original audio. After watching 2 minutes of two characters only moving their mouths, facing each other with a couple camera changes, I decided to look at the source material. The video is of PewDiePie sitting across a table from Ken, doing the EXACT same thing.
You might say, "well he drew a naked Ken for the selfie part and threw a pie in his face at the end, that was goofy", but they did that in the video too. They even showed the actual picture of Ken naked.
The reason these "YouTubers Animateds" are fun and interesting is from what the creators imagination can ADD to the audio, while this is just a shot-for-shot recreation of the first two minutes of the original video.
2 stars, it deserves to be in the portal, but leaves way too much to be desired.
Note taken, thank you!
It's very choppy for a stick animation, but my bigger issue is that your recorded your screen instead of exporting your movie. It takes away from the only thing happening, what's on screen.
You can upload swf files to NG and NG also has a download for a "swf to mp4" converter called swivel on the site.
Hope that helps.
I tried that but it didn't work
Daaaaannnnnnnngg.
Excellent compostiion and storytelling, I couldn't look away.
Thank you very much ;)
If you want to practice lip syncing, try looking at a phoneme chart which shows a diagram of general mouth shapes that occur when making certain sounds that then form words. You can find a ton online with a simple google search.
A good way to then test your use of these shapes(in your own drawing style of course) is to use a phrase emphasizing a lot of each sound.
e.g.
"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"
"Sibilance"(this word highlights several consonant sounds and is used in mic checks)
Thank you for the advice. I'll be sure to try it out.
pure advertisement, no substance.
