Usually Pico Day is an exclusive invite-only event, but this year EVERYONE 18+ is invited!

Why “Pico Day NJ” you ask? We want to make it perfectly clear that this year’s in-person celebration won’t be taking place at the office in Philly. We rented out a sweet rock venue/movie theater to party at and leave the office nice and clean for NG staff to return to work as normal on Monday. This also means we don’t have to limit the number of attendees like previous years!

We’ll be partying this year in Rutherford, New Jersey at the Williams Center for the Arts: half rock venue, half movie theater. Come hang 90 minutes out from Philly on I-95 and only 30 minutes from NYC as well as EWR (Newark International Airport). Should you make the trip? This will be one full day of fun with your favorite friends and creators on the site AND we’ll be screening our favorite newgrounds animations from the last few years at 6:30pm on the day!

We have to buy tickets to attend? I know, you know, it's lame. Being a public event we need a way to get an accurate headcount of attendees for fire code and insurance junk and we felt $10 per ticket was a nominal fee that would do that while also helping to cover the cost of the venue.

Never been to a Newgrounds Meetup before? I’ve been to plenty: people can be shy at first, but as the nervousness dies down everyone has an incredible time chatting, gaming, and doodling in sketchbooks together! Got some tips for the trip?

• Bring a sketchbook, you'll collect some sweet doodles from others as a memento
• Make stickers! I got jealous when other people had stuff to hand out like cool stickers, so I do it too now :D
• Wear Newgrounds Merch or something newgrounds-adjacent if you’ve got it: whether you’re wandering inside or huddled up around outside the venue, it makes it easy to recognize a new friend! 
• Parking in Rutherford NJ is managed using the Park Smarter App, there is a parking complex near the venue and street parking is free after 7pm
• YOU MUST BE 18+ TO ATTEND PICO DAY
