[A Near Dawn - Sam Running Animation]

It's an alright loop, not much of a reason for it to be hear instead of the art portal(though I suppose the background wouldn't compress well as a gif)

But for running this looks a little goofy, stiff and slow. I didn't know he was running until I read the description; I thought this was to make fun of old Adult Swim show animation that were forced to re-use old 80s cells that ran at 12fps. I think you may have spent more time rigging, the background parallax and making sure the shadows and highlights looked nice each frame rather than focusing on primary(a panic run where the torso bobs forward and back) and secondary motion(head bob) to the loop.

Really nice line work for an animation, but the entire thing is lacking in environments and color.
It looks super incomplete so I hope you plan on finishing this.

The main aspect of animation as it is defined is to create the illusion of movement through successive pictures. The movement is pretty smooth with regards to that department. That being said, I don't think its fair to judge an animation negatively based on the fact that it doesn't have color or an environment. However, I agree this does make it look less refined.

The video didn't really add anything to the music. At first I would've said to put it in the audio portal instead, but I guess you didn't make that in the first place anyway.

This movie is a great example of someone who know's their limits, but makes an earnest try to improve and does so in many ways over time.

My biggest gripe with this is that it doesn't add anything to the original audio. After watching 2 minutes of two characters only moving their mouths, facing each other with a couple camera changes, I decided to look at the source material. The video is of PewDiePie sitting across a table from Ken, doing the EXACT same thing.

You might say, "well he drew a naked Ken for the selfie part and threw a pie in his face at the end, that was goofy", but they did that in the video too. They even showed the actual picture of Ken naked.

The reason these "YouTubers Animateds" are fun and interesting is from what the creators imagination can ADD to the audio, while this is just a shot-for-shot recreation of the first two minutes of the original video.

2 stars, it deserves to be in the portal, but leaves way too much to be desired.

It's very choppy for a stick animation, but my bigger issue is that your recorded your screen instead of exporting your movie. It takes away from the only thing happening, what's on screen.

You can upload swf files to NG and NG also has a download for a "swf to mp4" converter called swivel on the site.
