dope shit, mad style even if the punchline didnt hit for me

The premise isn't well communicated in the first interaction. without reading the title it's unclear what's going on until the second interaction. That part is pretty fun and the designs overall are cute. I saw the ending coming a mile away, but I'm glad it went that way regardless :)
Solid setup for a joke, kind of prefer to just watch the full pilot in one go instead of drip-feeding it though. I get the tactic, I think it's smart, but I tend to skip "episodes" and lose a bunch of context
I absolutely respect this take. In my ideal world, i would love people to watch full episodes when theyre complete. As that was the way the show was meant to be watched.
The "drip feed" lets me post more often in the interest of getting my work seen. Allowing me to create larger projects. One day, when i can afford it, this will not be the norm. And if you want to wait until the full episode drops i totally respect it!
I'm super into these transitions!
Love it when stopmo hits the site <3
The thumbnail might be a turnoff for people, I don't have any solid recommendation, but it does not reflect the quality of the work you've made
EDIT: I can't quite place it, but the thumbnail is pretty cluttered and it doesn't make me want to click on it. Almost missed out on a good video if i didn't read the title
Glad you enjoyed it! Thought I did a decent enough job with the thumbnail but branding is defintely not my strong suit. What's not to your liking? I was torn on whether the picknicker in the bottom left added or detracted.
I appreciate that although this is an animatic, it's very active like a studio animatic(tangentially i hate how the standard as risen in our industry), and the inclusion of the colored, fully animated shot shows you can back up the storyboarding with the ability to create the final look of the show.
The characters, voices, and dialogue all seem kind of generic tropes and there's nothing special there right now, but pilots often feel that way. When I write characters I usually write the pilot in my head to develop them and then write episode 1 as if it's episode 2. kind of warming up on how these relationships existed before the show; getting past the growing pains.
Where the dialogue writing is lacking, the shot composition and direction are exceptional!
It took Felix Baumgartner 4 minutes and 19 seconds to base jump from the stratosphere in the world's longest freefall ever recorded. Goth fell for nearly 4 hours. Someone do the math for me pls
great style and direction, though i admit i didn't read the title when first watching in fullscreen so it took a solid 30 seconds to figure out what was going on and that this was about TRON
I knew exactly what kilgar was gonna say when i hear exposition xD
Fun idea, great voice work
