A stopmo entry, awesome :0
Thank you!
The framing isn't bad, but the camera is always so stiff and the zooms make it feel like we're watching a slideshow during some shots. They're sock puppets! Ask yourself why you chose to use sock puppets and how you can best utilize their advantages to plus your film. Make them move! Get a little goofy in the visual presentation and acting to starkly contrast the story and narration(it's a tight line to walk, but you can do it with quick cuts and close ups).
Honestly it's a little surprising that when someone finally does talk out loud on screen you decided to keep their mouth closed shut :/
Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep it in mind if I ever use a camera again haha, this project was my first (and since then, last) attempt at directing a live action film of any kind so it ended up a bit unrefined
thanks for the trip 0.o
what a world!
yooooo I took that class! Nathan's a great mentor :)
BTW sound would go a long way to help!
Great job, awesome flow!
cool motion comic, I think the portal needs more interactive media since .zip uploads are enabled. It's really short though and sound would've gone a long way
EDIT: All I know is action script, I'm not sure how the html5 canvas operates, but surely adding sound files to keyframes should still work.
Yeah, a monthly thing of this length is all I can do between my day job and other alt account. If they pick up more traction, I can make it a bigger priority and do more/longer. Thanks for the feedback!
As for sound, I just don't know how to do it in Adobe Animate's HTML canvas. If you know of any resources, that'd be greatly appreciated! Thank you (and sorry for the added labor)!
I see you cut away before the mercury poisoning took effect
Neat idea done pretty well. a bit disappointing that you fade to black when the cop shows up, could've had some good gags in there!
EDIT: lawl, thanks! Glad you liked it :)
Thank you! I agree that it could have been longer with some more jokes in there. Next time I’ll consider the overall length a bit more.
Also Luckyboy was fantastic, just want to toss that out there
I make stuff; sometimes for money, but always for fun.
