You guys got robbed in the daily placements, great work!

dumb, small and cute.
I don't know why these two are so charming
You've got really cool angles and style going on, but the pacing feels really rushed. I think the work would be a lot stronger if you cut slower and really let us sit with the robot's emotions shifting between each shot
I love it when stopmo hits the portal!
Set design and lighting look great! A little touch up in compositing to keep the rubble and sand in place when you mean for it to be still and some more secondary action in the character animation and you'll be cooking!
Thanks, definitely going to work on character animation in next project.
really cool style, but better tracking onto the tv screen would be awesome
Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to get that fixed once the new cartoon is finished.
literal chills
It's cool seeing a new angle on a classic
A stopmo entry, awesome :0
Thank you!
The framing isn't bad, but the camera is always so stiff and the zooms make it feel like we're watching a slideshow during some shots. They're sock puppets! Ask yourself why you chose to use sock puppets and how you can best utilize their advantages to plus your film. Make them move! Get a little goofy in the visual presentation and acting to starkly contrast the story and narration(it's a tight line to walk, but you can do it with quick cuts and close ups).
Honestly it's a little surprising that when someone finally does talk out loud on screen you decided to keep their mouth closed shut :/
Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep it in mind if I ever use a camera again haha, this project was my first (and since then, last) attempt at directing a live action film of any kind so it ended up a bit unrefined
I make stuff; sometimes for money, but always for fun.
