One sign of good composition is a clear sense of differing values in black and white. I really like it, it feels eerie even without the use of a green or purple palette.
I think you should definitely include this in the art portal, it isn't a simple sketch :)

Fabulous headshot. I was gonna say great tritone but it looks like there may be 4 or 5 blues in there. Anyway it looks great and the beast skull looks awesome!
