[THE HEART OF THEM | Concept Trailer]

Visually this trailer makes me really excited for the full product though as a trailer it doesn't provide much information(and I'm not saying to spoil any story). Making teasers are an art form of their own, this doesn't quite hit the mark for me but based n your previous work I'm excited nonetheless

Thank you for posting your review! Criticisms are always welcome to improve my work more. For this teaser, I don't really wanna show much, but what you can do (not sure if you did) is to check out my previous uploads and watch the animated film's 5 minutes animatic.

The full trailer will be available once at least 80% of the animated film is completed but that'll happen until around by the end of this year but it'll first go to film festivals.

Can't wait to show more but it'll take time.

Another wonderful anecdote, really impactful visuals and amazing sound direction.
I'd love to see more about this world in episode 3!

Not much going on to review, but if you wanted to make this piece better I'd suggest making the light coming from the door more dynamic. The light fills part of the room in the direction of the man on the computer so it should light his back up similar to the computer screen. And when the blood starts spilling the light is covered up once again until it goes away.

Little details like that tend to sell "believe-ability" which sounds dumb for a cartoon, but really means engaging the viewer.

1. I don't know how the main character got into this situation, I barely comprehend him taking the pizza boxes to the front porch let alone actually going inside.
2. Kawaii Bob needs to chill, don't blame the messenger, your shitty friends ate it.
3. Nice Game Grumps cameo ;)

That being said this was funny and really well animated. I find it hard to sometimes watch these scenarios like I said above but it was able to suspend my belief enough for me to enjoy the effort that went into this, The movement between and during each sequence was fun and elastic. Great opening background too, wallpaper worthy!

Stays true to the original style, the rig can clearly handle movement, but there's so little of that in this video it's a bit disappointing.
I also wish it was longer than a six-second vine. There's not really much to it.
This is your second video like this, so maybe a 30 second one might be done before the new season arrives?

I apreciate this as im still very new to animation, by only about 2 years of on and off work, i have an idea for a series but my skills vastly need improvement before i do it, however i feel like my shading and rigging is getting much better so i find this helpful

Maybe save the actual videos for newgrounds.
The only reason to make this video for a channel trailer on YouTube. On this site where you can't feature a trailer for your content, only content, this is basically a 50 second ad, purely self promotion. That kind of thing isn't allowed here according to the NG wiki.

Great job! A lovable little guy on a subway who is the hero we all need... to fart, a lot.
The fuzzy lines really make the fart clouds look good and gassy while the monkey's face makes it very easy to read his emotions.
